New Versions of “China’s Vehicle Production/Sales Data” and
“China’s Vehicle and Auto Parts Import/Export Data” in Excel Format

Until now, we have provided an Excel-format version of China’s vehicle production/sales monthly data as an optional product for our customers who subscribe to the China Auto Weekly. We would like to let you know that we will alter the style of the tables to make them more similar to the style of the original data released by the China Automotive Manufacturing Association (CAAM). Our aim with this alternation is to make it easier to check total production/sales data by auto maker. This change will be first applied to data from January 2006, which will be available at the beginning of March 2006. We are pleased to inform you that from March 2006, this new version of the data will be available to everyone for a one year subscription of 30,000 JPY (approximately 261 USD*). Along with China’s vehicle production/sales monthly data, so far we have provided China’s vehicle and auto parts imports/exports monthly data in PDF for our China Auto Weekly subscribers. We are also delighted to announce that, from March 2006, we will provide an Excel format version of the data. January 2006 data will be available at the beginning of March 2006.
