China Auto Industry Forum hosted by FOURIN (April 21, 2003) |
FOURIN is a privately owned, world automotive industry research and publishing company. Since establishing in 1980, we have worked hard to provide an independent, unbiased perspective on the industry. Our research spans a variety of issues relevant to automakers, suppliers and related industries.
Our independent staff of professionals provides objective and accurate analysis based on data collected directly from the source. Our Beijing office was set up in 2003, and that has greatly enhanced our ability to track the auto industry in China. The resulting level of precision has made all of our publications well respected within the Japanese industry. In response to customer requests, we expanded our English offerings to include the China Auto Weekly in 2003.
FOURIN's history in China goes back to 1989, when field research began and the first reports were published. Since then, comprehensive reports have been written up in each of the years 1993, 1994, 1995, 1999, 2001, 2003, and 2004. Our most recent report titled '2010 China Automotive Market Forecast' English version was released in June 2004. From 1996 on, we have been publishing monthly reports on the industry, and these have been well regarded among our Japanese customers.
With China's 2001 entry into the WTO, the stage was set for rapid changes in the industry. Since then we have witnessed explosive growth in the auto industry as a whole, and FOURIN has worked hard to provide accurate analysis for our customers. In order to strengthen ties to the industry, FOURIN hosted an industry forum of 550 delegates, including representation from all the major players in the Chinese industry. Events like these have helped us to better communication between China and the world. That is precisely our goal with the FOURIN China Auto Weekly.
Original English reports cover the same content as our Japanese monthly reports, and are available in a convenient PDF format. Please take advantage of the free trial issues. If you find the information valuable, please subscribe online.
