China Passenger Car Sales Forecast Database
In 2009, China became the largest vehicle market in the world and since has become a top-rank country which drives the global automotive industry. Maintaining and expanding share in China is determined by each automaker´s growth and luck. Today, decision makers around the world are focusing their attention on vehicle sales trends in China.
Therefore, FOURIN and its business partner, BDW Automotive, have developed a comprehensive forecast database which makes predictions on China, especially on future passenger car sales. Starting from January 2011, FOURIN will launch this service, aiming for its development through collaboration with automotive industry-related entities in China and throughout the world.
The undertaking has been realized through FOURIN´s quarter of a century research of China´s automotive industry based on the company´s 30 years of history and experience in collaboration with Germany′ automotive database company BDW.
- Basic data is based on estimated sales volume independently researched by FOURIN. This system is a new database which can accurately grasp virtually actual conditions without boundaries.
- The database consists of over five years of accumulated data from January 2005 until the most recent month. Monthly data is broken down by automaker, model and body type. More recent data is also broken down by retail price, transmission type, engine displacement and other factors.
- “ForCar China” includes three types of research reports: “Monthly Report,” “Sales Results” and “Sales Projections.” Subscriptions include all three research reports.
- Annual subscription fee is calculated based on your database requirements. Our staff will visit your organization and determine your annual subscription fee after personal consultation regarding your needs.
- Monthly data is updated around the 20th of every month. It takes about seven weeks to update the data. For example, the actual data for January 2011 would be available around March 20th, 2011. The analysis report will be in the March 2011 issue of “ForCar China Monthly Report” (Published on March 20).

FOURIN sells global light vehicle production/sales/export data compiled by its business partner, BDW Automotive GmbH. BDW´s data products are useful for more accurate sales and production planning, creating more effective marketing strategy, and increasing agility of customer demand. There are five data services and they are divided into two groups, actual data service and forecast data service.
- GSV (Global Sales Volume) Model Advance Data：Passenger car and light commercial vehicle sales by model and maker.
- SVC (Sales Volume by Country) Model Advance Data：Passenger car and light commercial vehicle sales by model and country.
- Passenger car and light commercial vehicle export data by model (Japan, Korea, USA, Germany, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and UK)
- Production forecast by country (yearly data)：passenger car and light commercial vehicle production forecast by model and country.
- Sales forecast by country (monthly data)：Passenger car and light commercial vehicle sales forecast by model and country.
